The Ecole Sainte-Anne Castors will head to Stanley to try to repeat as provincial AA senior girls volleyball champion.
The New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association is also staging the AA boys and AAA girls and boys tourneys beginning Friday and ending with championship matches Saturday.

The Penniac Bridge over the Nashwaak River will be closed for repairs for about six weeks beginning Monday.
The Department of Transportation's recommended alternative route for motorists is Route 8 and Route 628, better known as River Street in Marysville.
Work crews will be replacing the wooden bridge deck and approaches, as well as upgrading the wearing surface.

Stanley High School students were the big winners this weekend at the New Brunswick Envirothon.
The annual competition took place at Mount Allison University in Sackville this year. A total of 23 teams from New Brunswick high schools and one from Quebec participated in the three-day event, which ran from Thursday until Saturday.

On May 1, from 7-10 p.m., after the 440 chairs filled up around a long, narrow stage in the Grand Ballroom at the Delta Fredericton Hotel, at least 60 or more people crowded into the standing room-only areas to witness FAN-TAZ-Muh-GOR-EE-UH, the 2010 Catwalk Show from the Fashion Studio at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.
